What is the desired response?
At MOTU every relationship, every project and every problem start with this question. Just as important is our approach, rooted in the philosophy of living, loving and working with an open hand, never holding on or holding back.
What we aren’t is an advertising agency, although sometimes an ad campaign can be the solution to a problem, in which case that’s what we’ll do. Sometimes the solution is an entirely new product or service that only an objective, creative perspective can see. Sometimes it’s a Documentary film. Sometimes it’s a novel piece of software that empowers small businesses to reach new heights, in completely unexpected ways.
Our partners are people who value our skills and the perspective we can bring to their projects. We are the masters of this universe, and our power is in collaboration married to divergent thinking that delivers stunning results.

Cordell Brewer and Tim Beckerling are the Founders and Creative Partners of MOTU. Each with over 20 years of experience in various fields including Engineering, Advertising, Photography, Digital Marketing, Long Distance Trail Running, Motorcycle Racing, Shark Spotting, Child-rearing, Bicycle building… our lives are our life’s work. Each project represents precious time and energy given in pursuit of meaningful outcomes, and with that comes a great responsibility to work with like-minded, ethical and authentic people on stuff we care about.
